OK, so let's introduce myself. My name is Anne-Laure, I'm 16 years old and I'm French. So if you see mistakes and if you don't understand what I write, don't worry !! Well, if some French are reading these lines : salut les gars, comment ça va ?? but I will speak English because I don't think we are a lot of Frenchies here !
I discovered The Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy 2 or 3 years ago (let's say 2 and a half to be precise), because my father was reading "So Long, and Thanks for all the Fish". In French, of course ("Salut, et merci pour le poisson"). So I bought the first book, I read it in .... 1 or 2 days, and I bought the second, etc etc ... I found "the Restaurant at the End of the Universe" in English in my sister's room and I stole it ;-) ! Doesn't matter, she knows it. So I'm reading it and I don't understand the names (I think they mean something, don't they ? In French they all mean something, thanks to the translator). I think I will find the other books in English, that would be great. I'm thinking of making a website in French about the Guide, I searched one but I didn't find anything (in French, I mean). For the moment I have a site where I put every foolish thing my teachers say (that's very funny, a lot of people come to see that (the counter says 16323 today, since july)).
