Heya there, GA. :)
March Hare Started conversation Dec 15, 2001
Keen... I'm mentioned on someone's page..
Anyways, I have been thoroughly searching for something, and NO ONE HAS IT!!! I thought I could find it, but I am now desperate. I am looking for the Guide Superheroes and Supervillains pages; do you have nay idea where I might find them??
I have no idea why I thought you'd know. But I've looked on the pages of everyone I know, looked on the link pages of everyone I know here, and looked on the pages and link pages of the alter egos of everyone.... In short, I can't rememebr where it was I saw that they existed.
I mean, I know they have to have secret hideouts and all, but this is ridiculous....

You're mentioned on Dancer's page too
Superheroes- that'd be C.H.O.P.P.E.R.S I suppose, unless things have changed since I wandered over to that side of the guide.

And their rivals, S.T.U.M.P.E.D can be found at

or

(hey, I'm on their list I forgot I joined...must have been when I was brand new)
I hope these are the people you meant.
You don't know why you though I'd know? Thanks very much

Yes, yes, those are indeed the ones...
Really! For some reason, it seemed like something you'd know where to find.
Hmm.... It really is a tough call, you know. I mean, I've always been somewhat bent on universal domination and taking over the world and being clever and crafty and all that, and STUMPED really does have the better pitch and more convinving recruitment, but on the other hand..
...I've never been stupid enough to overlook the obvious, I wouldn't put my enemies in an easily escapable death well out of my range of sight and just assume the thing is airtight, I wouldn't give away all the details of my evil plot to the good guy I'd captured, etc. I mean, there are a lot of reasons why I'm just not foolish enough to be a supervillain. What's more, though the desire to win would make me a supervillain, the very fact that Good ALWAYS WINS does rule more in the superheroes' favor.
Besides, the villains look like such a boring lot, what with a bunch of chicks thinking they're evil and a bunch of goth types and guys into the whole undeath thing, and everyone claims to be invisible. .... Though I was never much into wearing my underwear over a spandex suit...... hmm....
Well, anyway, sorry I've been away so terribly long, I've been quite bad. Oddly enough, I have free time, so I haven't been on the Guide But I have but a week of freedom left, so I'll be snapping into a schedule in no time, in which I will check my e-mail and the Guide regularly.
What have you been up to?
Heya there, GA. :)

Hello
I promise I will be a good GA soon and actually have a conversation with you. But first I'm afraid that I'm taking a short break (about a week), and Dancer has volunteered to be your temporary angel. Sorry to leave you in the lurch, but he should be more than up to the job. Hope that's OK with you- if you need to be in contact it'd be best to email me, as I'm not sure that I'll be here much (the address is on my page).
Dastardly

That's alraight; in case you've been busier than I have and not seen, I haven't been on the Guide much either.
In fact, even now I can only be on for an hour, as I have only that much time before my class starts and I'm in the U lab. Kinda sad, really. Then again, perhaps I should stop getting suckered into Harry Potter again.. Friend gave me my own set of the books for Christmas.
Anyway, hope you're doing well... Maybe in a bit we can have a real conversation when we're both here to have it.

Well, it's now April. I haven't spoken to you for two months.... how disgraceful of me It's nothing personal, please don't be offended. I just get muddled
Anyhow, belated congratulations on the acehood
Heya there, GA. :)
March Hare Posted Apr 5, 2002
Why thank you.
No, I don't take it personally - otherwise I'd have to mean it personally when I'm gone for a month and then some.
Besides, I gave up the paranoia that people meant it personally - it was very difficult, but it's the only way I could live my life - so I don't bother to go down that road again. If I fear they mean it personally, I try to find out what it was, and if they don't have th egrace to say, it's not my problem either way, I figure.
Anyway, any news from the front? I get to move soon, and get DSL, and be happy with a fast connection....
Heya there, GA. :)
Researcher 168963 Posted Apr 7, 2002
That's a good philosophy
You're moving? Sounds exciting. Not on the run from the law, I hope?
I just saw that you're in charge of the Thingite lemmings That's rather good, since I'm the principle dragoon (llama division)
Heya there, GA. :)
March Hare Posted Apr 25, 2002
Oh, keen.
Yes, I have a lethal army of lemmings, even more effective than a thingite crack suicide squad. They shall leap off cliffs at my command.
Well, if I were on the run from the law, they'd have a damn easy time finding me, and I;d get to find out what they were charging me for. Honestly, the worst I've ever done, other than speeding, is trying to steal a fallout shelter sign. It was old, it wouldn't protect against a nuclear bomb anyway, but there you have it. (They caught me and confiscated my sign.)
No, I'm simply moving out of this blasted apartment and into something resembling a home. Lookin' to buy my own house, I am. Not on a busy street. Not across from a bar. With a nice, full kitchen with lots of counter space. Then I get to keep rabbits, and all will be happy, fluffy, and filled with lilacs and mortgage payments, But at least I will have control over my environment, and that's the important thing. Same city, better conditions. Of course, the search is what's been keeping me off the Guide.... I posted my e-mail address in my journal. If it doesn't get moderated, go ahead and drop me an e-mail if you want (and have time). I answer that more often than I check the Guide these days......
Heya there, GA. :)
March Hare Posted Jun 10, 2002
Found one!
Soon, soon my legion of lemmings will march across the DSL lines to infiltrate the Guide... er, I mean, the unworthy parts... not that there are any.... er.. nevermind.
Yes, I will have a house soon. But between that and class, that has been the most part of my absence from the Guide. I'm trying to do several things at once, and then I forget how to do them. It's very confusing being me. Maybe that's why I am not quite myself so often.
I'm sort of back! My e-mail is posted on my space, if you need to contact me otherwise, but the way things are going I seem to check that as often as I check the Guide. But it will get better soon, very soon.
Heya there, GA. :)

Hurrah
Pondering all the songs I know about houses, I don't think any of them are appropriate. So I'll just congratulate you in my normal, non-singing voice.
Classes? You study?
Heya there, GA. :)
March Hare Posted Dec 3, 2002
I find myself singing "our house, in the middle of our street...." Mmm, house with rabbit and space for rabbit and other things too.
Yes, I study, sort of. I'm a studio arts major, which means I get to play with metal and fire. My hobby (class-wise) is science, but I need as lot more math before I can take something above intro-level. Although I did get to take a planetary geology class, and that kicked ass. I like studying; sometimes I wish I had a "normal" major so I could sit at home till all hours and study traditionally into the wee hours of the night. Hopefully, when I get a bit more settled and umpacked, I can sit down and read more Shakespeare and all my nifty science books I dredged up from where I work (used book store).
So that's my update.....
Heya there, GA. :)
Researcher 168963 Posted Jan 9, 2003
Studio Arts? That sounds like lots of fun. I studied science and had the arts as my hobby, so between us we have a reasonably well-rounded education. Although I've not got a degree.
Working in a bookstore sunds like fun Although I don't think I'd actually get any work done...
My update... I'm stuck in the middle of nowhere working with people with epilepsy related special needs. Which I love, just wish it wasn't so isolated. Still, I've got no need to house hunt, since I get free accommodation.
Unfortunately, internet access is rather sketchy at the the best of time So I'm not here that much now.
That's me done - how are you now?
Heya there, GA. :)
March Hare Posted Jan 17, 2003
Rabbit adjusting well. She's a very good baby. She gave us her carrot last night (she never drags her food around - so I assume that finding her favorite part of dinner two rooms away with nought but a single pair of teethmarks in it is some kind of gift).
Taking time off from class until next fall; battles with depression - or, rather, finally identifying and isolating a 7-year depression - is going to take some time to get me on keel and whatnot. Considering medication, as all evidence points to biochemical (mental diabetic, if you will). I have my theories, though.
Where in the middle of nowhere? Like, way-out suburb type nowhere, or tiny-town-East-Jesus nowhere?
I know of sketchy net connections. A friend of mine just went to the South Pole station for a year, to do research, and she says they have to get their net connection by bouncing off satellites that have strayed from their orbit.
Key: Complain about this post
