I spent a week in the Kamonande Nature Reserve with some friends! It was a great visit, and I'll soon post a complete report here - with pics! For now, could any of you guess or come up with a story, knowing I am an animal lover - why, at some point, did I wind up with my hands stained with the blood of a female Kudu?

I checked out this reserves website---I hope they don't allow shooting the buffalo as I noticed they were kept in a separate area. Beautiful place to live, but I gather it's pretty pricey.

Elektra, as far as I know, they don't shoot the buffalo! There are only two in a camp, and we didn't even see them. My friends Gigi and Danie own a share in one of the chalets.
