I went to the Polokwane Bird Sanctuary today. It was very fruitful ... I saw more things than I had any reason to expect! I also saw a 'lifer' (first sighting in my life), the Blue-grey Flycatcher. And many other very pretty birds. And insects, and reptiles (including a big fat water monitor) and mammals (hare and cows) and LOTS of birds! And also many interesting plants.
