Thanks for that Elektra! Did you notice the Dioscorea (yam) from South Africa? I almost (or perhaps indeed) discovered a new Dioscorea in the Leolo Mountains a year or so ago. Sadly we didn't find it again on our recent trip …
I'm also very sad about the likely-extinct tree from Cameroon, looks like it is (was?) lovely.

Yes that is sad that they disappear. Loss of habitat is so hard to stop. God has to help humans, they are so oblivious to their surroundings. It seems like earlier tribes were better stewards of the environment, somehow they sussed on to the need to be interactive with nature without destroying the balance.
