Hi Elektra! No probs! I liked the article. Anyways there are lots, lots, lots of blood-feeding animals ... the article mentioned only three blood-sucking *mammal* species and those are all vampire bats: Desmodus rotundus is the common vampire, Diphylla ecaudata is the hairy-legged vampire, and Diaemus youngi is the white-winged vampire. All of them occur in South and/or Central America.
