Hello and welcome to the guide as moderated by the BBC. I'm Androyd and the ACE bit stands for Assisstant Commuity Editor. My job is to help you as a new/returning user find your way around. If you are a new user then please click on this link:

IF you are returning then I'll just say hi for now. Since some of us have been testing the site prior to opening so if you are worried/unclear/upset by any of the changes then get in touch as quite a few issues have been argued through and I can point you in the direction of where the debate is raging.
Changes are strange and unsettling but they are the price we HAVE to pay to keep this thing going. I still believe its worth it but that doesn't stop me arguing about stuff. So get stuck back in and enjoy!!!

Hi Gravity!
If it's booze you're looking for, here and or maybe you like the heavier stuff?
You can find out how to make those smilies by clicking on the icon and it should take you to a page full of fun little graphics to spice up your conversations.
Oh, and welcome to h2g2! I'm one of the volunteers who go around and greet newcomers to the site (the Assistant Community Editors or ACEs). I also wear a couple of other volunteer hats including which involve editing entries to appear in the Edited Guide.
I'm sure with a name like Gravity, you've got some background on the topic. Maybe you'd be interested in writing up a brief entry on the subject or on your hometown or favourite restaurant.
For details on how to get started writing, check out the writing guidelines at http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/A53209
Anyway, if you need any help finding your way around the site, do ask here or by clicking onto my name above to reach my Personal Space.
Cheers!
- Jimi X
btw: Sorry I didn't offer you any sex, but I'm happily married. Though I'm sure there's plenty of opportunities for and and and even !

Yeah she reminds me of a girl I used to date in my university days. I thought I was being clever with a string of 'fillies' (3) but it turns out she had five guys actively strung along and dozens more lining up. We all thought she was the all-looks no-brains type looking for a husband - man was I heartbroken when I found out I had been suckered - but it taught me a lesson I have never forgotten. Never trust a woman.

Well at least he seems to have learned his lesson GB. Broken hearted men are liked trained horses. His lack of trust is at least a mark of respect I suppose. That's all I ask of a man, respect. Anything else I need or want I'll just take.
