I forgot, which is naughty of me because I helped organise wearing green, white and purple in celebration at High School (I know, I'm a boy, but well, it seemed the right thing to do), but today is (was) International Women's Day.

we have a Russian guy at work who sent us all a lovely email, and gave us each a chocolate truffle.

And a big chain of Halfords type shops here gave all women (over the age of 18) an 18% discount on purchaces

which was nice
