Oh, and I've just realised that you're definatly not automated - you called me Midge. That was definatly a weight off my mind.

Of course we're interested in newbies, best way to ensure that the Guide grows . We all started off new at some point, and know just how big and confusing this site can seem at first

How are you finding the site?

I just switch on the computer, and here it is!

I've currently got a entry in peer review on snowballs, so I'm doing lots of editing.
I'm powered by ,, and anything else I can get my mitts on.

Ooooh, I'll have a look , I remember having to do an awful lot of editing on my first entry

Ra for cake!

I am out of cake currently - my Mum didn't make any more as we'd got gingerbread men, but they dissappeared rather quickly.

I'm currently trying to avoid the news - I'm trying to pretend it hasn't happened, kinda thing.

I have discovered I have one bar that my boyfriend left here, but considering it has melted and reformed I'm not sure anyone would want it anyway

I've read your snowball entry now, good work . The Scouts seem to be doing a good job on getting it polished- don't worry if they havwe a lot to change, it generally does take a lot of work to get your first entry ready for the Guide . On my first entry, though I'd read the writing guidelines I put a smiley in it and talked a bit in the first person . Despite this it took little more than a week for it to be picked for the Guide, so don't worry that it'll take too long.

Midge, there's no need to take your entry out of peer review - it's good. don't worry that it's hot here at the moment, it really doesn't matter, don't forget thee are researchers here from all over the world and were some of them are it's actually cold

It just... doesn't feel right anymore. It's too violent.

Hmmm, in which case, maybe make it more general? I had a look at the Edited Entries about snow, and though there are several, there isn't one on snow itself for example . Maybe you could write one on snow and include a bit about snowballs?

I'll think about it.

There's no ned to write entries though, we only doit because we enjoy it . If you know anything about leaves, beetles or topiary then you're welcome to collaborate on those three entries that I'm currently writing
