It's good to be back in the code again

Been doing some happy Perling. At first I was in agony - these fingers that had crafted so many tortuous regular expressions seemed lost, Perl refused to cooperate (well, all the dev servers have moved around so much since I last worked on them, none of my debugging stuff worked any more), and it seemed that when I sold my soul to the Devil I gave him my techie magic too. But NO! A couple of hours later and I was conquering mightily, oh yes. With only the occasional mindlessly stupid blunder.
So that's good, then.
(Also made it into work before 10, for once)
Rushing off now for goodbye drinks with Phil and Clay and the rest of the fish.

I made it into both the most profilic and most erudite poster top tens today. Well, to be honest, I should have done that a long time ago. It is my job, after all. 'Cept I've been tech-subbing and cleaning things up and helping with the shop and stuff. But I'm going to be better at it from now on, oh yes.

Ain't much happening at the mo.
Interesting thoughts of a reviews section going around, Mark's keen on that.
It's still really hot. The only thing that Shim and I could do was dance around the room to "Never There" by Cake.
