Hi Parrferris!
Just thought I'd pop and say hi, have been looking at the h2g2 researchers map and saw you there, over in Sidmouth. I'm Torquay bred, pop over your way every year for the folk festival and agree with all you say about Devon on your page. What a county we live in

We are lucky, aren't we?
Of course I know Torquay pretty well, having lived in Paignton for eight or nine years, and of course originally I'm a Dartmothian. Needless to say, I'll be back in Dartmouth next week...

I used to work on a riverboat going from Totnes to Dartmouth a few years ago, never got bored of floating up and down the river
If you're ever doing more than just passing through the Bay, let me know and I'll buy you a pint, anyway!
Devon - and an apology!

Hello again.
Thought this might be a suitable thread in which to thank you for your excellent work on the Devon's Towns and Countryside entry, and also to apologise for my own paucity of contribution to it. As you may know I moved during November/December and since I got back online 'real life' has conspired to leave me with very little h2g2 time - barely enough to do more than read BH's latest journal entries, in fact! Hopefully I'll get more opportunity to contribute soon, though my employers seem to be doing their utmost to keep me away. As it happens, during the move I discovered some research material I compiled (in another life!) which would make an interesting Devon-related guide entry...

No probs - I took the whole thing on prepared to write the whole entry if necessary, so everyone's contributions, however big or small, were heartily appreciated. The County entry proper still needs some work, though, if you do have any ideas
The other material sounds interesting; if there's anything I could help out with, let me know
Key: Complain about this post
