So what is it on e-mail? Long time no hear/see/read?
Haven't been able to log on for ages for some reason, but have now learned to 'open in IE'
Argh! LA LA LA LA (trying not to listen to any Revenge of the Sith spoilers that Rich is watching!!)Not a fan of episodes 1&2, so am hoping for better this time.
So what about Dr Who? I really like it!! Billie is far better than expected and even CE's grinning is not too off putting. What happens now he's leaving, oh Who guru?
We've just been to visit Stell in Italy - great fun. Hope your Mum &Dad are not in a trouble spot!!
How's it going with the refit? What will you be doing at the new shop? Do not say 'as little as possible!' Are you at work while there's no shop?
Just looked at you Thingites picture again. You don't look any different! Mags doesn't either! I, on the other hand, have grey hair, wrinkles and saggy bits!! ( Caused by too much!)
I can't believe how old we are!

Whoops. How long has it taken me to notice this post?!
I saw ROTS last week. Much better than Eps 1 & 2, I thought. A true Tragedy.
I have enjoyed every moment of the new series of Doctor Who. I'm sure you know by now what's happening following the departure of Eccles!
Hope Stella's well and enjoying life in Italy. The folks arrived home safely, though I was a bit worried what with all the trouble in Uzbekistan. Sounds like they enjoyed themselves, though I haven't actually seen them since they got back.
The refit went okay, though completion on time was a skin-of-the-teeth thing. We all had to work during the closure, training etc., but I think everyone got rather a lot more free time than usual.
I'm afraid that Thingite photo is a few years old now; I too have a lot of grey in my hair now and I'm afraid I've gained a few pounds! A girl I work with told me this morning that she thought I was in my forties...

(Obviously a slow news day here in the Midlands- man shot himself in chest with nail gun eughh!
Are you having a good summer? Our out and abouting is being severely disrupted by Christopher's travel sickness - nice!
Mark starts school in September. I really can't believe it.
I hope the 'girl' who thought you were OLD is a teenager, otherwise you're in big trouble, mate!! Less beer, more mineral water - you know you want to!! [pauses to dip another biscuit in tea]
Hope all's well.

Erm, no. She's about 22...
Having a great summer so far. It's Sidmouth Folk Week at the moment - last day tomorrow - and though I've never been a folkie I rather enjoy it all (in fact I'm actually sitting here now listening to a folk music CD that I bought the other night). After that it's only a couple of weeks until Dartmouth Regatta, for which I have the week off. All of which means that there's little chance of me swapping beer or scrump for mineral water for a while, even if I were so inclined.
I have every sympathy with Christopher. I suffered horribly from travel sickness throughout my childhood; in fact I only really kicked it in my late teens. Have you been anywhere interesting on your travels, then? I've just realised that I haven't been away for more than a day for ages - in fact not since I moved up to Sidmouth.

Sorry it's been so long.
We went to see Stella in Italy in the spring. It was great. I'm very annoyed that our visit to them next March has had to be cancelled. They've decided to get married at Gretna instead of Italy!! Have you ever been to Gretna? Oh dear!! How dare people interupt my holiday plans by having ideas of their own?
Apparently, they couldn't decide on a venue and Stell mentioned that people in Britain eloped to Gretna to get married. Massimo thought it was hilarious and the idea caught on.
I do remember you being travel sick on school trips. You were very pale on that ferry as I recall!
Are you watching Strictly Come Dancing? Go on, admit it! I have a secret yearning to be able to float round a ballroom, but as I dance like a baby elephant, not much chance of that!!
Did you have a good time at the Dartmouth regatta? We tried to go, but Rich couldn't get time off!
Hope to hear from you soon!!
Nicky
