how are you doing?
we've just had the kitchen done and despite having a bare concrete floor and no tiles on the walls, it's a whole lot better!Stella and Massimo got married at the end of March. All as usual otherwise! Where are you now, and what are you up to? Best wishes.

It's been a while, hasn't it?
Pass on my congrats to Stella and Massimo; I must let Ben know. Did I tell you that I've moved to Brixham? I'm living in a rather quaint little terraced house. It's quite poky and the stairs between the three floors are like those on a routemaster bus, but I quite like it. A new kitchen is nice, isn't it? Mine was refurbished at no great expense shortly before I moved in, but it's better than anything I've ever had before. I do miss Sidmouth, though, as I absolutely loved the place (I wrote this about the town for h2g2's Edited Guide before I left: A6092480 )
Work is hellish at the moment; we're under new ownership and they're 'restructuring', for which read 'making people redundant'. I wouldn't mind taking a nice payment myself and trying my hand at something else, but unfortunately my position maps over to the new structure so I don't have the option of redundancy. A bit galling when I have colleagues in tears because they love their jobs but are going to lose them. It's also annoying that the reorganisation has nullified all the reasons for which I left Sidmouth.
Oh well, at least I'm on holiday this coming week and the weather's none too bad!
How are the family? I hope they're all keeping well.
I don't know how up to date you are on my terrible brothers. Ben is still doing his legal stuff but has now moved to Essex; Ed quit his job at Slapton Ley to travel around the world with his girlfriend, but is back now and applying for all sorts of conservation jobs; Len is... well, I can't actually tell you - honestly! - but you'd laugh.
Keep in touch!

oh, go on tell me!!I can't imagine your brothers as grown ups! Mind you, i have difficulty imagining me as a grown up!
So did you blub when Rose left? I did! very impressed by Billie, although not sure that I enjoyed this series as much, despite the gorgeous Mr Tennant.I did have to keep reminding Rich that it is a pre watershed programme!!
Sorry to hear about the work situation. can't be easy when everyone's getting upset. What new thing do you fancy trying your hand at? can't believe you're not a journalist or writer- you were so good at school. that was 20 years ago, so you're probably into particle physics or somesuch now!!
I'm just off to have a , wish there was for breakfast!!!!
