Do you work in the Plainmoor Somerfield or the one in Town?

How's Torbay at this time of year, I've forgotten.

Actually I work at the Dartmouth one now; before that I was at Paignton.

The Bay's okay at the moment - the sun actually came out today!

Mmmm, Dartmouth. I love that place so much. It must be the exact polar opposite place to where I live now, San Diego. smiley - blue Do you live there?

Good job I'm coming home for Christmas. smiley - cheers

The "English Riviera" should adopt that as their slogan: "The Bay's OK Today!". Maybe not actually.

I actually live in Paignton, though I'm originally a Dartmothian and my parents still live there. It'd be nice to move back there but I can't afford it I'm afraid.

So what's San Diego like, then?

I always got the impression that Dartmouth was a wee bit too expensive.

San Diego: Hmm, sprawling (to get anywhere you have to drive), sunny (almost all the time, with not being too hot all the time), full of fast huge wide roads (full of people who cannot drive), and lots of big Californian beaches. It's a lot more laid back than LA, but less exciting. Huge cars everywhere too. Heh, the SUVs that they drive here couldn't fit into Dartmouth whatsoever. Umm, what else? It's a big city, but feels quiet. Oh, lots of Mexicans here too, and the best Mexican food in the world. Oh god, have you ever had a Carne Asada Burrito? smiley - tongueout
