CHIEFABERACH'S PAGE
Welcome to my page. Not much to tell at the moment, as I'm just finding my way around this weird and wonderful, but totally confusing site. I'd like to add a picture but I'm still struggling with the basics, like finding a conversation that is less than 3 hours old.
Anyway, one way to introduce myself I suppose is to explain my name (although it's comparatively normal around here).
I am a Mackay and my ancesters (well, some of the male ones) are from Sutherland in the north of Scotland. My Grandpa's middle name was Aberach and he was the chief of the Aberach Mackay clan. I adopted Aberach as my middle name when I was about 14 and was unofficially told I would become the chief. I've never heard anything else about it since and I don't even know if there are any other Aberachs in the world. I could be the chief of a dying clan or I could just be the chief of myself, which would probably suit me better. Anyway, I just treat it as a bit of a joke, especially when people ask me what it means.
