Always good to welcome another north americacan(I'm in Canada)! Anyway man, I'm 1 of the assistant community editors or <./>ACEs</.> here. We greet newbies like yourself & leave you links for settling into the 'hood. It's a great place, believe me! Your first stop should be the Welcome page@ A53146 . Then you'll be able to decorate or personalize your space/page. Check out 'spicing up your page'@ A690518 for explanations of the possibilities. Or there's also the Personal Space Workshop@ A1123354 ...for any clarification or anything.
Like any large community we've got numerous Clubs & Societies. You'll find those listed by category@ A660340 & that includes regional resarchers' groups. We've also got a weekly newspaper <./>thepost</.> which comes out Thurs. evenings British time...I'm guessin' about 3pm New York time.
But my colleague Feisor has compiled a comprehensive list of Hints & Links@ A719840 . Take your time going over those & lookin' around. I think you'll find this's a friendly & informative community to be apart of. If you have any questions or anything feel free to leave me a message by using the 'Reply' button. Adios!*waves*
