Obtusity in documentation.
Many researchers find it useful to support their arguments by having all of their facts straight before they begin spouting off nonsense which they would stake their credibility upon. Let it be known that I shall endeavor to create true and accurate observations based soley on my experience and accumulated knowledge. You will not find references to other sources to affirm my information, but you must assume that my observations are true to the best of my knowledge. Should you happen to personally know that information I have published is incorrect, you are welcome to make this observation, however, I reserve the right to retalliate to such contradictions either by stating the objector is unequivicobly wrong or completely ignoring him or her altogether. Some would say this attitude of hubris blemmishes my credibility, but as I haven't got any in the first place, I have nothing to fear.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
