Sorry only just got your mails, happy new year to you and your family aswell. Yes still only 2 of us perhaps 3 soon we are looking into adopting a dog, sometimes older people can't look after them anymore peoples circumstances change ect and we're in a position to give a dog a good home.

Yes that's always a good idea, there are usually animals in need of a good home!

Just thought I'd let you know we got a new puppy, had a few sleepless nights but nothing major. He's a little Chihuahua we named him Oscar, I know I said we were looking to adopt but I found him on the Kennel Club site the breeder is a really good one so I bought him, best thing the breeder is bording him for us while we're away so he'll go back to his birth mum for 3 weeks at the end of August.

That 's a good arrangement then, that the breeder will care for him in August! I think Oscar is probably a very fitting name too...I can visualize a Chihuahua named Oscar. That's great!
