Backpacking

I'm heading off on a backpacking trip through the Sierra Nevada Mountains tommorrow! It should be a lot of fun. My mom even bought me a 
brand new backpack!!!! I'm so excited. This does mean I will be gone for a while from h2g2. I'll be back on July 24. Can't wait to get back to my Chico entry.

The good news and the bad news.

If you read my article, you would know that I am a college student who goes to Chico state. What you wouldn't know is that it is damn near impossible to get a job in Chico, even during the summer. I've been actively trying to get a part-time job for about a month now. The good news is that I have now found a job and it pays $18/hr. The job is setting up computers for a school district. The bad news is that I have to move back to my mom's house in Santa Cruz until August 12. This is significant because school starts on August 22. I never thought I would have to live with my mother for five weeks again. I have my own apartment and would rather be there.
I leave on thursday. No more partying for me.
