Are you coming down to the next Nodnol meet? Have you signed up for it here; http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/classic/F98462?thread=218359&post=2638487#p2638487 Anyone else likely to be coming down?

I've been swithering about it for a while, but heck, why not. I see Tracy is on the list, don't know about anyone else. I have a feeling Neil was intending to come, but he ain't signed up yet.
Baggsy the couch I'm assuming you are still going to be in the flat come January, at least?

Well, at the moment all is quiet on that front, so I'd assume yes. I certainly can't get out of the rental lease before then anyway.

I'm determined to hitchhike down
Hopefully, I'll see you down there. If not, I'll be on some motorway embankment, cursing Jack Kerouac for putting silly ideas in my head.

Go Careful please, it's not just us girlies that get grief
Here's hoping that the worst thing that happens is that you get rained on!

DoctorGonzo Posted Dec 23, 2002
Have you hitchhiked before? Any advice?
I think I'm going to have to buy a hat, otherwise my now-very-short hair may make motorists more afeared of me than the other way round.

Good Lord, that time already. I get into Heathrow about 1 (it was either that or the 7pm flight, and given what happened last time I thought I'd be early for once). Flight back home is about 3 Sunday afternoon. Haven't decided what to do on Friday afternoon yet - might go into Nodnol and pootle about.
Gratuitous offers of other people's flats muchly acceptable

My flat is still on offer. I assume you are the only one crashing, (bar me & him) so you can have the sofa and squeeky air bed at your disposal!

Despite rumours to the contrary I shan't be making it down. You'll just have to somehow have fun without me. Pretty sure Zan's going along though.

It's OK - phone me when you're in the Italian, and I'll go to Moffats and order a mega.
I'll be a sumo in spirit!

Cooee, any update on the plan? I should be back in Woking by six on a Friday night, so anytime after that for a few pints? Or do you intend to visit the pre-meet in town and turn up pished at some god awful hour?
