I just wanted to thank you for giving Hoo a taste of his own medicine in the FFFF recently. I'd been uncomfortable with Hoo's aggressive nature in there. Pattern-chaser really doesn't exhibit the right sort of temperament to give back what he's getting. I do, but I couldn't find anything I disagreed with in his posts to use as a jumping-off point. I agree with a lot of what he has to say, even if I disagree with how he says it.

Anyway, good on ya. I'm sure he didn't take it too personal, as he's shown himself to have a pretty thick skin, but you made me feel better, and I'm sure I'm not the only regular who did.

Thanks for the vote of confidence. I like that the FFFF plays host to lots of disagreements, and hardly ever gets unpleasant in the process. Hoovooloo hadn't really visited our Business Forum before; maybe he was expecting something more along the lines of an ol' Justin the Preacher thread or something, where perhaps mutual respect is... more scarce.

It's funny, I think, that my jumping-off point for saying something to him was my own misunderstanding of his Matrix remark. Also funny that Edward the Bonobo now has the impression that I'm a "religious person" who gets "agitated" when his "beliefs are attacked". I don't really think of myself that way.

Anyway, back into the fray. I believe I owe you an answer on the logic/irrationality of eating...
