I've had chili beer before, but I don't know if it was Crazy Ed's. It was bloody good stuff though

In reality it's all a bit of a marketing thing to ship large quantities of an indifferent American beer (is there anything but ) by using the gimmick of sticking a green chilli in each bottle.

But said chilli did burst in a most satisfying manner when I opened the bottle

Ok so that might be a bit of a generalisation about the state of American beer.

However the point remains that you've got to go to an occasional Beer Festival to get a decent drink. Whereas I merely have to stand in my backyard and lob a stone over the house behind to hit either one of these fine establishments...

That's as myabe, but I can go down to Cheapo Discs on the first Friday of every month (and on every day of SXSW) and drink as much FREE Live Oak Big Bark as I want

But that's because I used to work there - everyone else is on a two drink limit
