Sorry I couldn't resist posting *arrives* in a Waiting For Godot thread. Its one of my favourite plays ever.

When I was very small and not doing very well at school, my Mum sent me off to one of her teacher friends for a bit of private coaching in English. Waiting For Godot was one of the plays we acted out together in that class. smiley - magic

The whole point of the play is that Godot never arrives. Estragon and Vladimir spend two days waiting and nothing happens. So hence the action "arrives" is a bit of an in joke smiley - winkeye
