Sorry I couldn't resist posting *arrives* in a Waiting For Godot thread. Its one of my favourite plays ever.
When I was very small and not doing very well at school, my Mum sent me off to one of her teacher friends for a bit of private coaching in English. Waiting For Godot was one of the plays we acted out together in that class.

The whole point of the play is that Godot never arrives. Estragon and Vladimir spend two days waiting and nothing happens. So hence the action "arrives" is a bit of an in joke
