DARK STAR
Dark Star. Why Dark Star ?
Easy, when I opened my first Compuserve account back in the 20th Century, the User Password on the 3,5 inch disk ( we used those in the early 90´s ) was "Dark Star ", I liked it, but had to change password for obvious reasons and kept the name as an Internet alias ever since.
Despite the name, and the fact that I live relatively close to the home of the European Space Agency, I have no connections to NASA, GEORGE LUCAS or the SDI Program. So when the MIR comes crashing onto your garden shed, blame anyone but me. Blame the Russians.
I work at an airport, live in a small town almost as exciting as Bedford, ( I know, I once lived there too ) with wife, two kids and a cat which my mother hates. I don´t know if the cat likes my mother or not.
So, if anybody feels the need to chat POLITICS, NUCLEAR POWER, HEALTH FOOD, TELEVISION or the PRO´S AND CON`S OF HITCHIKING, please go away and bug somebody else...
y.s DARK STAR
ps. I hate WHITE SOCKS except when worn by tennis players on court, and do not own a DIGITAL WATCH, I grew out of liking those two items sometime around my twentieth birthday. Apart from that, I think I am pretty tolerant...

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
