About me!
Shalom all you Hitchhikers, Researchers, etc. out there.
I am Researcher Samo who shipwrecked yesterday on the planet of h2g2. I decided to join because I am a great fan of the Guide.
I am a german trying to write in English, so I ask you to please excuse mistakes in spelling etc.
I was born in the small city of Mainz but moved to the even smaller "city" Alzenau with is located in the bermuda triangle of Frankfurt, Hanau and Aschaffenburg. My hobbies are reading, painting and art, listening to music, hanging around doing nonsense & nothing.
At the moment I am working in a home for the aged as an alternative to compulsory military service. To be honest, I am not really a person who writes very much (my friends and my family sometimes are a bit sore and send killing commandos because I forgot writing postcards, e-mails and so on) but I think I´ll manage to change this for h2g2 and hopefully will improve my writing style.
When I registered yesterday, I wasn´t sure about my nickname and just picked the first that came to my mind (I was rather
uncreative yesterday; Samo is the name which the painter Jean-Michel Basquiat gave himself). I now will change my name to
"Astronomy Domine", which I like more.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
