hmmm, might be a case of soderitghity, you perged the cats brain with elecrostatic energy and some ghost or somthing has got in there instead, you realy shouldn't play with MAGIC and animals in the same Room.

I think I'm going to leave the cat/dog alone before I do any more damage to it. Next I'm going to work on ways of turning oxygen into ethanol, which should be a good party trick and a cheap way of getting drunk.

Yeah, and while I have no problem with setting the cat on fire or replacing it's mind with a ghost, setting fire to myself sounds quite painful. I'm sure there must be better and less painful ways to practise MAGIC

no you don't set fire to your thumb you set fire to the air above your thumb (any british gas custemers will understand)

you could try the razing, get a small object to move with out touch or movment of air (Don't blow it) try a bean or a pencil to start off with and if your feeling confident move up to cars, trains and houses.

you are welcome to join my classes at my 'Space' http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/U178086

See you there..
