...or Demonaka. Or Alasdair. Or ShadoWind if you really want. (Hence DAS) Or just call me crazy.Anyway. Hi. What is it you want me to say, exactly? Hmm, life story? Nah, too boring. Well, interests should do, I guess.
Okay, well there's gaming for a start. I am the consummate gamer; my memory cards are filled with variations on the theme of "100% complete." Ah, but it's all in good fun. Keeps these hands o' mine busy, anyway. I've also built up enough of a collection to actually call myself a collector; I tried counting them once, but lost count at about 400. Oh, and 19 consoles to play them on.
I also learn. Yes, it's an interest! Not just for Uni, though. I'm probably the only English student whose bookcase boasts books on infinity, quantum mechanics and a great deal of rather in-depth computing subjects - to name but a few. Plenty of fiction too, though. Reading is definitely another hobby. Sci-fi and fantasy overflow in my room, but there are a few classics: The Iliad and The Odyssey; Dante's Divine Comedy, which I will actually read some day; the Canterbury Tales... Okay, so more than a few - the list does go on. I fancy myself a bit of a writer, too; can you tell? I've already almost finished my first novel - it's fantasy, but the sort that doesn't really have much in the way of orcs or dragons.
And then there's Scuba. My dad used to live in the Philipines, and the first time my two younger siblings and I went out to visit his pastures new, we discovered the diving school that has since become almost a second (or third, or whatever) home to us all. If you've never done it, do it; if you have, you'll understand my simple joy... *sigh*
