What I do for a living (academic prostitution)
So here I am in the first place that has given me a newbie name that I can relate to. You see I'm a contract researcher in Marine Production and Technology here in the UK - Now that might sound very boring to you, but I can assure you - it is very boring to me! On the other hand I have a good boss and I pretty much do what I want as long as I get the job done. How many people do you know out there in the real world who can do that sort of theing and get paid?
Did I mention that I work on a University campus? I swear, this job gets better all the time! Anyway where was I - Oh yes, I was introducung you to me - Well, here I am. I'm in my thirties (old) and I'm an environmental graduate of the University of Sunderland - I've travelled extensively in the States (from where I picked up my very annoying Americanisms) and I wish I was travelling still. I work full time in a University now and frequently take on consultany work to the marine industry who really should know better! I have two kids, both boys; a wife, female; and a bloody huge mortgage - all that aside, I still have a sense of humor although I've been known to take too many females too seriously when I should have been laughing!
