you'll need a thick skin for Peer Review... some are really good and insightful and will help you improve your piece... but there are a few pedantic tools in there as well..

LoL, the degree of my tolerance for critisism lowers with my degree of love for what I have written Though real constructive critisim generally is ok.

Err, lowers as my love for what I am writing raises.

You just need to be mindful that while some is very constructive others just want it in the same style of their own writing. If you don't let them get under your skin, take the good criticism and use it to improve your submission and take the style points and acknowledge them for what they are, someone's opinion, you'll be fine.

Hey! It's been a while but I have good news! I finally got back the first chapter of my book that I sent in for my correspondence writing course and my instructor said I did a great job. I have to move on to my 2nd chapter now.
