Small City Life in Bangor
As an abnormal, and yet completely bog-standard member of the human race it is good to know that there are possibly a few others out there with absolutely no idea of what is going on at all. This comforts me and gives me hope that with a little help I shall make it through life in one piece. My name is Ben, and I was born in North Wales, in a sunny yet constantly wet little city called Bangor, I have lived there most of my life with a short break into the slightly larger cities of London and Manchester, in which places I met and then completely lost touch with a host of very interesting people. I am now in Bangor again, although I am moving to Dublin in the New Year, and this time I intend only to loose touch with the annoying people that I have met. Bangor has a lot to offer the individual, if you do not intend to work for more than 'National Minimum Wage', although if you are a student, of which half the population of Bangor are throughout the term-time months, this need not worry you. My main interests are linked to music, preferably live, which include organising the nearby Conwy Performance Arts Festival once a year over the August Bank Holiday. The only drawback with this is that we are competing with other larger festivals such as the Edinborough and Reading Festivals. Also various other local evenings of music and merriment in the local Greek Taverna and a nearby Medieval Hall. This I should imagine shall be difficult to keep up with from Dublin so I shall see what I can do over there, but rest assured I shall be back next August for the Conwy Festival.Conversations
