Have to say that the UAE is fabulous, and i am clearly living the dream!This place is awesome, however, I wish my friends and family were here, then my life would be complete...still, I guess it makes the time I spend with them when I come home more special.

Teachers are rather important in a child's development. Our little girl cried for a week solid when she heard her teacher was leaving. If you can make that kind of impression on the kids you must be doing something right.

Back to the matter at hand, did you get the impression that Evadne knows Jack? That might explain why she leapt to his defence.
Laudible, of course, but inappropriate given the rather blatant falsehood he propagated. It's like leaping to the defence of your brother when he gets caught out for stating that the sky is green.

I had the time to do some digging in his past posts and came up with some interesting revelations. Including what he actually does.

Sorry I did not get back to you sooner. We took the kids away for the weekend, and have only just got some sleep!!

I did some digging and looked at Jack's earliest posts. He and a chap called Researcher XXXXXX started posting at the same time and, as it transpires, worked in the same office. They had some sort of difference of opinion it seems as Researcher XXXXXX took exception to Jack's wild claims of military credentials and accused him of insulting his friends. He even called into question the surname Alpha.
Another poster made reference to a comic character called Johnny Alpha, but Jack sidestepped this by claiming he was born with the name. If you look at this link, you will see a short entry on the comic character mentioned (whose real surname is apparently "Kreelman" and not Alpha).

Anyway, I have not been able to contact Researcher XXXXXX, but I have made contact with one of his friends who was aware of the situation that went down. Jack worked in customer services (in a call centre) and he was not conducting any security checks, but was just an operative in the centre. He then tried to impress his colleagues with tales of military heroics and even mentioned being SAS trained.
This more than likely stands for Saturdays And Sundays.
This brought him into some conflict with his co-workers apparently as they could spot holes in his claims. The fact that he was able to post often while in that job and has not posted for a while lends itself to several possibilities. Given the fact that I have exposed his wild claim of troop rotation, I'll let you draw your own conclusions.

I'll do some more digging and see what shows up.
