Confession

Today I finally acknowledged that my fascination with this site is an addiction.

All the symptoms are there, including denial.

I'm talkin' 'bout money money...

Ugh!

Today not good.

Unemployed, poor as church mouse, borrowing embarassingly, just had argument about finances, and now facing the prospect of job-hunting all day long in the rain.

*rock bottom*

New Year

I thought I'd written one this year already... but it seems I haven't.

Oh well.

So the Euro is with us now. Very nice little notes and coins, I like them very much. I just wish I had more of them.

Oh the poor cat... I look after someone's cat, but I won't get to see it much this month... smiley - sadfacesmiley - blackcat

Er what else? Working on a couple of entries: How to Sulk, and The Åland Islands. Pop along and see, tell me all my spelling mistakes.

Adios!

How the days roll by

Ah... what a day.

Minus ten- that's a first this winter. smiley - snowman
I can see how the eskimos have so many words for snow. There seem to be so many different types the further north you go. Last night it was a sort of white dust that just fell and fell and blew and blew and made clothes wet and roads white.

Got £20 in my pocket now too which will turn magically into Finnish Marks in about half an hour and then its off to the shops with me to buy toothpaste, meatballs, milk and tea and a BIG BAR OF CHRISTMAS smiley - choc!!

Mints

It's great to find mints in your coat pocket that you'd forgotten were there.
They have to be mints though. Things which are bad to find include:

Melted chocolate, crumbled gingerbread, burst BBQ sauce sachets, yoghurt, death warrants, damp Turkish Lira, fluff, dead mice, a bear trap, Ronnie Corbett dressed as a nun, a worm hole in time and space, a pipistrelle.
