Well, the hard part is that people don't learn so fast at that age, so as a teacher you don't feel like you make so much progress.
Plus they all speak a fair bit of English already, so they're on the shallow part of the learning curve.

I was even younger when I started, and people here aren't that used to being taught by someone half their age. I'm not sure they took me seriously in the beginning smiley - biggrin

Sorry to butt in

Just thought you ought to know that Thornaby station's got a ticket office now. But it closes around 5 which is perfect for anybody who works 9 - 5 any further than ten minutes walk away, so the situation's improved for 4 whole people.
Stockton's new pedestrinised development Wellington Square has an MVC, which still doesn't sell anything outside of the charts within the last four decades,...unless you don't want it.

The Wobbly Goblin is not so great unless you're Wobbly yourself, and the other pubs have gone down hill.

I love Stockton, me!

Sounds like they're doing the place up.

Feel free to post your comments over at my entry on Stockton; it's the Guide's official update system, until they actually re-edit the article. smiley - ok
