Okay, we've just been reading this, and I can't stand it. As soon as I get the tears out of my eyes, I'm copying the url for you.

Wee, we had some question or other about George Bernard Shaw, and in my researches, I came across mention of this short story, entitled, 'The Miraculous Revenge'. Written I believe in 1885.
I'm thinking this might be a welcome addition to your appreciation of the Wicklow area. I would pay money to see a miracle like this one.
Also, it's the funniest thing I've read in a long time. I had no idea Shaw could write like Saki, but that's who he most closely resembles here. I suspect the ridiculous narrator of this yarn would get along famously with Clovis, that troubler of Anglican bishops.
I hope nobody finds this *too* irreverent.
