Hi maverick,
Welcome to H2G2, my name is manda (well its not really but thats another story) I am from Wolverhampton in the UK, I am an "ACE", (Assistant Community Editors), and I am here to welcome you to H2G2 and to show you around.
I know that it may seem silly that I am welcoming you here after all this time, but at the time of your registration we did not have the tools to find new researchers and many of slipped though without a Welcome, so at the moment I am looking for researchers that have never been Welcomed to H2G2.
So if you do return to us at least now you will have some were to start, and remember there is always something going on here to please every one if you know were to find it, if you can click on this number >> A725500, were Rocket Man has made a page for new Researcher's to look at, or this number >> A534953 which will take you to Shea's List 'o Links. If you need any more help or just want to talk then do not hesitate to ask, you can leave me a message on my page by clicking on this number >> U193090 and then clicking on the "DISCUSS THIS ENTRY" button, or by clicking on the "REPLY" button at the bottom of this page, and I will get back to you, have some and a cup of to keep you going.
Speak to you later

Hi manda,
Thanks for the nice greeting. The and are much appreciated. I admit my page looks a bit empty. Would you believe that when I registered I didn't open my page because Real Life immediately pounced upon me?
Then when I came back the BBC takeover had occured and I couldn't get into my page so I had to register again. By the time I could get this account's email changed and the account converted I already had another account. I am happy to have my old U#.

Hi maverick,Thank you for your reply,I have been going back over two years and having a look at every page that has not been ACEd,I know that there is a lot of people that have opened more than one page for one reason or another,as I did not have a lot of time I just ACEd every one, and that way I would know that every one has been ACEd at least once and people like your goodself would be ACEd twice, but I promes not to charge you twice.

That sounds like a lot of greetings...ACEing everyone that hadn't been ACEd yet. Is there a list of when accounts were registered? I don't even remember when I actually registered this account. I know that when I did reopen it I had to delete some really outdated journals.

Hi maverick.
The only way that the ACEs could greet anyone new was to catch ON LINE so a lot of them got missed, but know we have a list that tells us if the page has been activated and if anyone els has been to the page,so it is less likely that any one will be missed now

No, sorry, I've never been near LD. I am guessing you mean Leisure District that I have seen postings on here about from digibox users. Have you seen the FolDer's Arms A913150 and other places for the digibox users?
Hey, while you're here would you like some or other snacks?
You are welcome to stop by again for a chat.
