Hi Kristina, thanks for the welcome. Yes this site is a bit daunting (hence my tardy reply), and Yes, I'm officially as Aussie (Sydney) but was a Londoner until 1992...
Any idea how I can join the H2G2 motorcycle club ?

The motorcycle club? That would be A724312, right? Oh, I know those chaps - they even made me an honorary member!
Let's see.. they don't seem to have a 'apply for membership here' thread, so I'd suggest starting a new conversation by clicking on the 'Start a new conversation' link (or 'Discuss this entry' as it says in some skins) and say something like 'Can I join?'
