When's the interview?
I'm in the studio no. I'll be going home soon, and not come online again for several hours - some stuff to do.
So I'm saying goodnight now... Take care, see you soon, I hope.

Tomorrow afternoon - it's with the recruiter, not the company, but never mind.
Okay, I'm gonna go to my mum's house (hopefully it doesn't rain on me on the way) so goodnight

Hey Long time no
Had an interesting day today, so I thought I'd fill you in on what's been happening.
I went to an employment provider today, because the social service thing here needs dole bludging bums do either 'work for the dole', a course or 'real' work for two weeks after a certain amount of time, or else they won't give you any money. So I went there and talked to them - they were surprised I was semi-literate and actually had a brain. The lady asked me if I was still depressed, and I told you yes, so she said that she'd set me up with an interview with someone and I may not have to do the work for the dole thing, which would probably involve bright orange jumpsuits and large rubbish bags.
I was feeling really depressed afterwards, and I just missed the train to go home, so I decided to take the next train in the opposite direction. I decided on a whim to go down a train line I've never been before, and I got off at a rich suburb near the sea. I wandered around for about 2 hours, getting sunburnt all over my chest, except one conspicuous line where the strap of my bag goes. I was watching the yachts when my mum rang and said that she'd just got a message from a pet store nearby, and they wanted me to go there for an interview. I hadn't even given in my CV but when I called them they said that they wanted to see me and have me do a test day.
So I walked back to the train station and went home - it took about an hour and a half, and I had to rush to get ready. My mum was working and I don't have a car, so my grandma came to pick me up, we went back to her place to print out my CV cos I don't have a printer, and we made it to the pet store with about 5 minutes to spare.
The girl who rang my mum showed me around, and I played with the kittens out the back, then I spoke to the owner. The whole time there wasn't a single 'interview' question, it was more about how much I could work, and what I'd do *when* I started. It was like they'd decided to hire me before they'd even called, and I hadn't even met the owner before. The only thing I can think is that last week I told the pet store girl about the kittens I fostered in NZ.
Anyway, the 'interview' lasted about 15 minutes, and now I'm going in on Friday and if I decide *I* want the job, we can organise my hours. The pay is nearly twice as good as the last place I worked, but I might not have as many hours.
Finally, after 5 long, miserable, depressing months, I have a job.
After the interview I went with my grandma to the hospital, where my grandpa is. He had bowel cancer and had an operation last week, but he got worse and went back to hospital on Tuesday, I think. Apparently this morning he was really bad, but this afternoon he was much better, so that's good.
When I got home my housemate's boyfriend came over and I took a ride back to his place with him on his motorbike. He lives about 20Ks away, through mountainous bush, and he pushed the bike up to about 150 at one stage, it was awesome Now he's cooking and I'm avoiding writing a job application for my mum, by telling you about my day
Ain't procrastination great?

Yes, it is.
Great news about that job - hope it works out. (Seems much more suited to you than selling furniture...
)
Hope your grandpa will get better - or if not, that he won't suffer...
Sorry, bit short as a reply, but it's late and I'm slightly squiffy...
Take care, sweety. Hope to talk to you soon.

Hi bubs, miss you
Work is still good, except for the sore feet, poor pay and one obnoxious co-worker.
I shaved all my hair off yesterday, I've got a number one buzz cut now
How's your life going?

Hi bubbette. Glad to hear from you.
Here's hoping for less sore feet, more money and the de-obnoxing of that co-worker...
You really have no fear, do you?
I'm fine, thanks. Life's nice and uneventful, just as I like it. Except for the loads of snow we're having now.
Snow... Don't talk to me about snow...

Feet still sore, but co-worker called in sick today, so that was a nice reprieve, and I only have to put up with her for 3 hours tomorrow.
Not when it comes to my hair, piercings or tattoos, anyway
Hair will grow back, piercings can heal over, and tattoos ... um. Yeah.
Nice and uneventful sounds good And snow sounds good too, at least in theory. It's been relatively cool around here lately, hovering at the 30 degree mark, with a lot of rain, which is a nice change.

Here's hoping those three hours will pass quickly...
Right...
Oh, snow *looks* beautiful - but just wait until you've got to walk through it for half an hour... You'll be hoping to reach your goal without falling and/or breaking any bones...

Hey
Miss you Any chance you'll be here in about 12 hours? We could, you know, play.
That must sound really bad to someone who doesn't know what we're talking about.

Or just sweetly innocent...
Miss you too. I am here about 11 hours after you posted, but I'm in the studio - not an ideal place for playing, I'm afraid...
How are you doing? Things going well, I hope?
Just so you know - I usuallly drop by here every day - just *really* late - or really early, depending on how you look at it...
See you soon, I hope!

Not really, it's pissing down here, so I don't really want to go anywhere. Maybe I'll play xbox or finish reading the god delusion. My mum's going in for a minor surgery today, not sure if I'm going to the hospital, I don't think she wants me to.

Yeah, and this is supposed to be the 'sunshine state'
She'll be fine, it's just a checkup, basically, to see if she's gonna have the same problems as her father.

Gods with a Sense of Irony! Well, I never! What will they think of next?
Ah - here's hoping she won't, then.
