Can you tell me a couple of things? When were those slips you told me about dated? And how long ago did they return it to sender?

No, I'm sorry. How many times have I told myself not to trust a word out of his mouth? I should have searched the house 
One of the slips was dated sometime in the 20s of January. The second one was in the 20s of Feb. And I only got a glimpse of the book where it was written about being returned to sender, but I'm pretty sure it was about a week or so ago. Not much help, I'm sorry

At least the packet *is* still somewhere in the system - it's not lost or stolen. And you won't have to deal with that smeghead ever again.
At least now I have an idea of the time frame.

Hey, don't worry about either of those things. Get your teeth fixed first - that's much more important. And get some furniture, so the cats have somewhere to hide.
As I said, I'll call the post office tomorrow. If I have to pay again, so be it. Maybe we can sue your ex-landlord for the costs...
