The Loving Bonsai
I received a bonsai tree for Christmas. My Mother says I will take it to college with me. So far it is a three year old Chinese Juniper with little, dark green needles. According to the Bonsai book I bought, I should prune it and shape it by twisting the branches with wires. I have found that, in my other house plants, all they really need is love, not decipline. So here, in front of the H2G2 Community, I formally decree that I, George (The Babbling) Brooke, will never mistreat my Bonsai by torturing it with wires and will, instead, allow the branches to grow naturally and only prune the needles. For now, I will just have to wait IN SILENTO ET SPE (In silence and hope).
