Russian Submarine

There is a russian Submarine moored in the harbour at Folkstone. If the weather is calm enough, you can go on board for £3.50 and have a look around. It apparently has a displacement of 2000,tons. Sadly, there are no doughnut facilities on board the vessel, so you would be well advised to take some with you. Access for the dissabled is utterly out of the question I'm afraid as access for the able bodied submariner must have been at best tricky. I would recomend visiting the submarine, but I would also recomend making sure they are open and that the sea is not too rough. The location of the sub, is just next door to the staition (folkston harbour)
