Well, what can I advise you about Guide Entries?
We are encouraged to write about what we *know*; for example, Archangel Galaxy Babe wrote a fantastic article of "stillbirth" which was highly praised.
Mina {Muse of Bondage} wrote an excellent entry on head lice, which has now been accepted for the Main Guide.
I suggest you wander round h2g2 for a while, read some forums, if you find someone has posted something which interests you, click on their name then go read their Personal Space {their homepage}. Scroll down & you will see whether thay have written any Guide Entries, click on those links & you can go read them. You will see from Accepted Guide Entries, the type of article which is acceptable.
If you find any articles which you would like to "add to", you must contact the AUTHOR of the article & put your suggestions to him/her, if they are acceptable, you would be included as contributor.

There's some very helpful hints in there.
Do let me know how you get on, and feel free to try some ideas out on me.

I have written a few words about a Submarine. I had intended it to be suitable to go into the "Whole sort of general mish mash".
