My Introduction
Hi there,
I'm a total novice here, so please excuse a somewhat lacklustre introduction page, but trust that with time I can only get better. ;-)
I'm a Masters student in the Software Engineering field, and with one year down and one to go I'm missing the world of work and money after having enjoyed all that for 5 years. But at least now I know I'm on track with an area I'm actually half-interested in, which is nice...
I'm Irish, love to travel, read, socialise. (Oh dear, this is beginning to sound like the Hobbies section of a cv.) I am very fond of dogs also, I own a Bichon Frise, and I am currently 'fostering' a boxer/terrier puppy from my local Animal Welfare society until he finds a permanent home. My Bichon's got a pal, the puppy gets socialised, and Animal Welfare don't have to pay kennel fees for him so everyone's happy! Now if only he'd sleep through the night... ;-)
I've had a look around h2g2, can't wait to shake off the dreaded newbie feeling and become part of the guide.
That's all for now - thanks for reading,
Sus
