Angelic Guide to the Galaxy
Hi everyone! This is AngelWings and welcome to my Guide!
b4 i start blabbing away, just a warning: i have terrible grammar/spelling on the net especially in informal stuff like e-mail and entries like this 1 (u mite have noticed that by now) 
but other than that, i'm usually a fun person and not too hard to understand (just sound da words out in ur head and u'll c what i mean) so thanx 4 stopping by and maybe u'll find the meaning of life, the universe and everything! probably not, but there's always hope 
so let's c, what's there to kno 'bout me? oh rite, i'm a totally obsessive person 
i mean that in a good way! really! i adore Princess Diana, well, the late Princess Diana, and she's been my idol since i was 9 (i'm 14 now...5 years is a really long time 4 me) and yes, that was way b4 she died. i was totally devastated in 1997 after her death, basically in shock for 6 months and then couldn't stop crying but that's a long story. i still love her now even though it's been 3 years and it's sad how the rest of the world has forgotten, but i c resemblances of her everywhere (including in one of my fav movies: Notting Hill...Anna just totally reminded me of Diana, plus the theme song by Elvis Costello is wonderful). i even had a big crush on Prince William for a while around two years ago, i went nuts when he came to Vancouver, Canada, on a skiing vacation...i got to c him at one of his public appearance sessions and he waved at me!!! i was in ecstasy 4 three days, a little silly no w that i think about it but it felt really exciting at the time and i had a blast that day chasing after him LOL. oh, and my favorite singer is Celine Dion, she's Canadian so i can be all patriotic now and she's pregnant! yes, i care very much for the personal happiness of celebrities i'm obsessed about, and i think that Celine just has the greatest voice! i have all of her english CDs too 
my other obsession in the entertainment industry is the TV show 'Touched by an Angel', i don't usually watch the box but TBAA is really special to me and i just love it to bits. it's a very popular family drama in the United States but it hasn't really caught on in Canada yet, which is a shame because it really is the most awesome show. i cry every time i watch it--even those episodes that i've seen 3 tiems over--and my favorite angel is Monica, played by Roma Downey (also one of my fav actresses next to Julia Roberts and Helen Hunt). funny, i always seem to like people w/ kewl european accents
oh, and i should also mention that i LOVE english literature. i first took a course in it in grade 12 last year (i'm in 1st year university now) and i feel in love w/ poetry (and quite a few of the guys who write it...especially Shakespeare and Keats and Tennyson and Tennyson and, well, u get the idea). that was the only class in highschool where i've ever been moved to tears by the course material (and yes, i did cry when we read Dylan Thomas' "Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night"). so english lit has also become another one of my obsessions and don't be surprised if i start going off on random literary tangents i love that stuff...poets rock! (well, the good ones do anyway...the others should be given kudos for trying) and literature itself has made my world a more beautiful place in addition to saving my sanity in a crazily insane, mostly harmless, world okay, we don't need sanity 100% of the time but once in a while it can be surprisingly handy...i did a test on the net once and figured out that i'm 42% insane hey! maybe that's the answer the the ultimate question! okay, okay, don't be so skeptical, it was just a suggestion...
