Glad you share my horror!
I don't know whether you will understand how I felt when I tell you my daughter did it for charity!
She paid £50 for the honour, out of her sponsorship money.
She said it was fantastic!
I didn't go watch her, but I told her to text me when it was over, and a friend videoed it, yes, I watched it, just the once.

I don't mind other people doing it, but you won't catch me up on one of those things! It's funny - I really enjoy fairground rides, roller coasters and such.
Body piercing makes me cringe though - I wouldn't dream of it! I don't even like looking at them . Tattoos don't have that effect on me, although I wouldn't have one.

It all depends on the ride.
At Pleasure Island, our local theme park, Andrew will go on any ride, it's amazing he remains totally expressionless while all around are screaming and white-knuckled!
I go on the Paratrooper, it's a safe ride, just up & down & round & round.
I can't go on the rides that Andrew likes because of my neck and spine
Both my daughters have piercings and tattooes, but my older son has neither, he's a total wuss just like me.
