Captain,
I'm not sure why the XS Malarkey website called me that, but there you go.
Are you still coming on Tuesday night? I'm driving, so I can pick you up if it suits you.
My only worry is that the war might be over by then and I'll have nothing to talk about. Come on Osama... live a bit longer!

I get the impression that it was threesecondmemory's idea, but whether he'll remember why...
Yup - I'm still up for it. Just tell me when and where to stand and what colour car to look out for!
I guess the problem with topical comedy is that events can move on. If all else fails you are going to have to talk about your mother-in-law!

7:30pm. The bus stop on Manchester Road at the junction with Sunnybank Rd.
No point saying that my car's red because it'll be dark by then!
OK?

OK - see you then.
Don't forget, after a horrific laboratory accident with a radioactive paint-by-numbers kit, I found that I possess no superpowers whatsoever - including the ability to see colours at night. You don't get a name like Captain Kebab without being a superhero of some kind. Chillipower!!!
