the line of least resistance
if material in the physical world, like water for instance, always travels a path which offers the least resistance to its movement, doesn't it follow that mental processes and behaviour will also exhibit this pattern?
ie - we are all doing the easiest thing we can do in any moment. it might seem difficult to others, and it might even seem difficult from a subjective point of view. but ultimately, when all factors are considered it can be seen to be the easiest path..
so what about free will?
