You can call me TC

Been thinking about Christmas. I know people complain about signs of Christmas appearing as early as September, but I am allowed to think of it.

When the young family come over from California for Christmas they're not going to want to be lumbered down with presents, so I thought I'd make up for it by putting on a great display of Christmas decorations.

But they've got to be safe enough for a toddler to walk past, yet plenty at his eye level, lots of lights, but no leads anywhere, and bright without being tacky or plasticky.

I've found lots of patterns for sewn items, which should be safest. Not that I'm going to have time to do any sewing. smiley - smiley

Christmas with babies and toddlers - I'm certainly going to make the most of it!

I rather like Christmas, though the first half of December usually becomes a marathon event. Will everything be ready in time? Is there any way to get through the masses of people who are buying last-minute items when all you really wanted was some staples like light bulbs and milk? Then the weather starts to get lousy, and it's hard to get around smiley - yuk.
