Hi TC, Yes, I’m still about. Life, college and a Fiancée have slowed up my posting. Also in the process of clearing out Mum’s stuff since she died last October. It happened while we were in a lower tier so able to have a reasonable funeral and wake. She’d had dementia after two heart attacks 8 and 10 years ago but also had lung cancer. Thankfully it was the latter not the current virus that finally killed her. She’d been in a nursing home fir two months after a week in hospital after a succession of falls. She’d lost a lot of weight so when she died it was actually a blessing which is a horrible thing to say but true.
Louise, my Fiancée of almost 5 years is now buying a flat across the road, facing Kew Bridge, 50m or so from where I currently live and I hope to move in in about three months, if I can get this place stuff-free otherwise it’ll need to be a tardis.

Hope you are well. If you want to give me your address I will add you to my postcard Covid friends’ list that I write to once a month just to bring a little light into what otherwise is a pretty drab period.

Hi MMF, lovely to hear from you. I am so glad to hear that so many positive things have been going on in your life. Please accept my condolences on your mother's death. My mother died in July 2019, and I haven't been able to get to the UK since March 2020, of course. I'm not exactly homesick, but it would be nice to think I could just hop on a plane any time....

Anyway, sorry I haven't replied sooner. I hope you read this some time. Your idea for sending postcards is a really good one - are they postcards featuring your own photos?

I have now found a mobile number I must have had for you at some point, ending in 0976. If that is still valid I could send you my address via Whatsapp - you did mean postal address?
