This is really a neat place many converstaions to view are they logged and filed? Do they Actually get printed in the HH guide?
Greetings, researcher 154901!

Um, logged and filed? Well, they don't get erased (at least not very often), and some people browse them for information for Guide entries, but otherwise I don't think much happens with them, other than the conversations that are going on of course.
As far as actually getting printed in the HH Guide, this is the HH Guide. There's not really anything in print as far as a seperate book(s) (with the exception of the series, or course), everything at H2G2 is part of the Guide. Some bits are 'Edited' (or 'Approved' as they were once called) Guide Entries, some bits are 'unEdited' Guide Entries which are basically either rough drafts, test Entries, or Entries which people haven't submitted for 'Edited' status. An example of why someone would choose not to submit their Entry would be my Residents Entry, which wouldn't get 'Edited' status because it's written in first person, but I prefer it written the way it is so I don't submit it. Then there are the community pages of H2G2, which in a sense ARE Edited Entries, but in another sense are not since they aren't static and change periodically. (Edited Entried don't change much after being accepted.) Then, of course there are the discussions that are going on all the time, which are still part of the Guide as a whole.
