Just arrived in Madrid. Well it´s been almost two months now.
It´s an exciting city. Lots of museums, bars, nightlife... well, at least everybody tells me so. I haven´t got out much. After all, I´ve come over here to work, and work is all I seem to be doing. Work, sleep and smoke.
It seems to me I´ve seen more of Madrid everytime I´ve come over here for half a day than now I´m living here. These things always happen to me. I was living in England for 4 years, and probably I saw less than anyone who went to London for the weekend. But, hey, if I go on holidays to, say, Athens, probably I´ll visit every major spot and be able to tour everyone around.
Oh, but I´m reading a lot. I think they must build a monument to the Metro system. It really does a lot for literature. I think I´ve finished the Hitchhiker´s Trilogy in just two weeks, solely reading on the coach wagon.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
